Even when it's not officially available in some countries, everyone in the world knows IKEA.

But beside of swedish furniture (actually made not in Sweden, but somewhere in Asia) and accessories, you can get also original swedish food there.




you can get different kinds of cheesecake, bread, marmalade, sweets, some swedish alcohol, funny shaped pasta aaaand that tasty cookies called Ballerina from Göteborgs.

Melody Gardot

since some time I'm a big fan of jazz music; okay not that original kind of jazz, it's more this "smooth jazz". Even when real jazz fans are telling me that this kind of music is not jazz, for me there are only two categories of music - music i like and music i don't like - and smooth jazz is definitively category one.
There are several musicians standing for smooth jazz and Melody Gardot is one of my favourites. Melody Gardot became a musician as a therapy, after she was hit by a car while driving on her bicycle and was disabled. She still needs a walking stick and must wear shades, because her eyes react sensitive to bright light since this accident.

read carefully before buying

last week it was time again to get me a new bubble bath and because I love to do looong bathings, it's important for me what kind of bubble bath I use. I like to jump into the tub, feeling the hot water surrounding my skin, close my eyes and smelling the nice scent of the bubble bath.
However, I went to the body care section at grocery and saw this "Palmolive Naturals Milk & Honey" refill bag and said to myself "mmmmm, milk & honey sounds interesting, I will give it a try".



Home again I tried out this new bubble bath already and indeed, it was a nice scent like honey. While I was enjoying the bathing, I took this refill bag and read on it... and found out that it's NOT a bubble bath - it's a Liquid Handwash



This means I'm bathing in liquid handwash... waaahahahaha.
Okay, at least it smells good and it produces nice bubbles, so I will go on using it as bubble bath ;-)

wer-wie-was-wieso-weshalb-warum?

I'm living since 10 years in Regensburg and after many years writing at LiveJournal and some years of abstinence in writing, I decided to start a new blog here.

My posts will be about living in Regensburg, about events in my city, interesting places and about any other kind of news or things which are interesting for me (or maybe also for you).

Okay, I know that statistics aren't that popular, but first of all, some statisics of Regensburg:
- over 2.000 years old history
- around 150.000 residents
- placed at the geographical northernmost point of river Danube
- town's landmarks are Cathedral St. Peter and Stonebridge

I will not fill this blog everyday with words, it will be more like a "from time to time filling", but I hope that you will enjoy every breakfast with me
